We provide dynamic balancing solutions with our state-of-the-art "Schenck" rotorshaft dynamic balancing machine. This will ensure optimal performance and reduce possible operational downtime for the next scheduled turbocharger overhaul. A hardcopy of the computerized results will also be handed to our customers for record purposes. The imbalance of rotating machinery is mainly caused by events such as abnormal wear during operations, manufacturing deviations, system disintegration during repair, etc. Such imbalance results in turbocharger vibration that will reduce bearings' lifespan, leading to complete failure in extreme cases.

We offer cost effective advanced repair and life extending solutions with analytical replacement or certified TIG welding of turbine blades. We also conduct a thorough stress and fracture mechanics analysis as part of our value-added solutions. Worn-out turbine blades will lead to inefficient turbochargers. This can result in high exhaust temperatures and other system consequences.

We provide chroming, metal spray, micro-blasting as well as other machining operations to restore worn shafts back to their original state - based on manufacturer's specifications. We also provide reliable and efficient shaft replacements that will ensure proper functioning of motors and other rotating equipment.

We offer both new and reconditioning solutions for bearings and pumps. With precise scientific technology, our reconditioning solutions provide superior results that will extend the lifespan of the existing bearings and pumps. This eliminates the need to discard or replace these valuable parts. We also provide customised repair programs as part of our value added solutions. This will significantly lower cost, hence greatly reducing the turnaround time in dire situations.

With reliable parts support and customised solutions, Burco Marine ensures that our customers will only receive components of topmost quality in the right amount, at the right port and at the right time. Our customers will benefit from efficient turnaround time thus reducing outage costs.

Thermal spraying is used to refurbish rotorshafts and their components, including bearing journals, pump spigots and seal areas. Pure or alloyed metal is melted in a flame and atomised into a fine spray by a blast of compressed air. The solid metal coating formed on the surface after spraying will be more resistant to friction, abrasion and corrosion as compared to before. As such, with minimal thermal input, a wide range of alloys can achieve good bonding with the substrate material. This means cost-effective coating solutions for a wide range of wear problems.

We perform microblasting technique when it comes to removing residues and corrosive sections found on compressor wheel seat area. Microblasting involves propelling at high velocity where small abrasive particles are mixed with the air stream and then sprayed on to the affected part at a particular speed.
